Using the tool
Melody Creator is provided as a free online tool for creating short melody ideas. You may use the grid, presets, random melody ideas, playback, chord controls, instrument choices, and MIDI/WAV download features.
You are responsible for how you use downloaded files and for checking whether your melody is suitable for your project, platform, or release.
Your melodies
Melody Creator does not claim ownership of melodies you create with the grid. Because presets, scales, chord progressions, and simple note patterns can be common musical material, the app does not guarantee that any melody will be unique, copyrightable, or clear for a specific commercial use.
Downloads
MIDI files are intended for software that supports MIDI import. WAV files are rendered in the browser using the selected instrument sample sound. File compatibility can vary by device, browser, and music app.
Third-party samples
Playback and WAV rendering can fetch SoundFont instrument samples from an external public SoundFont host. Those samples are separate from Melody Creator and may be subject to their own availability and licensing terms.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break laws, interfere with the site, bypass technical limits, or claim that Melody Creator guarantees legal rights in musical output. The service may change, pause, or stop features at any time.
No warranty
Melody Creator is provided as is. The tool may have bugs, browser limitations, sample-loading errors, or export differences. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided without warranties and without liability for losses that may result from use.
